According to KTLA, 29-year-old Jonathan Phan left his driver’s license behind, leading the police right to him.

Phan is accused of breaking into the victim’s home on West Civic Center and when the woman woke up and saw him, she screamed, prompting Phan to flee by jumping through a window.

Police say the suspect fled so quickly that he left behind his pants, cell phone and wallet, which contained his driver’s license.

He was arrested Friday on suspicion of residential burglary and is being held on $50,000 bail.
