HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Heavy smoke filled the air of a High Point neighborhood early Tuesday morning after a house on Alleghany Street went up in flames.

The fire was reported by a neighbor around 3:10 a.m.

The house, which is for sale, was vacant at the time and no one was injured.

Firefighters say the fire started at the back of the house. They are still working to put out hot spots.

Officials do not know yet what started the fire.
