RALEIGH, N.C. — A robbery was reported at North Carolina State University as students who had just moved in were sleeping in their dorm room.

WTVD-TV reported that the incident is leaving some students and their parents on edge.

“They sent out a Wolf Alert and it said something about a male or two males came into a dorm room and I guess the dorm room was unlocked,” said freshman Caitlin Patrick.

Campus police say around 3:10 a.m. Sunday two students woke up to find an unknown man in their room.

That suspect allegedly grabbed their wallets from a dresser before fleeing on foot. Neither of the students were hurt.
