CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 17-year-old lost control of a car and crashed into a Charlotte home on Friday night, according to police.

WSOC-TV reported that the car went through a planted area surrounding a tree in the yard, across the front lawn and hit the home.

Police said it happened around 6 p.m. Friday on Furman Place, resulting in minor damage to the house.

The homeowner was home at the time, but wasn’t injured, according to police.
