HIGH POINT, N.C. — A serial killer who murdered women in High Point and Asheville will be featured in a new documentary on the Investigation Discovery channel.

The High Point Enterprise reported that Lesley Eugene Warren will be featured on an episode of “Handsome Devils” on Investigation Discovery. The episode will air at 8 and 11 p.m. Thursday.

Warren was charged in 1990 with the murder of 21-year-old Katherine Noel Johnson of High Point.

He was arrested in connection to the murder of a woman in Asheville and confessed to killing that woman and three others, including Johnson.

“Women can’t help but fall for the baby-faced good looks of Lesley Warren,” according to the TV show’s description. “But the young man from North Carolina is not all he seems. His innocent charm masks his clever disguise of a murderous mind.”

A former High Point police officer and a former Guilford County District Attorney are interviewed for the show, according to the paper.

Warren killed the High Point victim after meeting her at a company picnic he’d been invited to, according to authorities.

He was convicted of strangling her and stuffing her body in the back of a car’s trunk.

Warren, now 46, is on death row.
