GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. – Guilford County deputies are looking for a man who has been missing since Wednesday.

Sheriff BJ Barnes with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance in finding 61-year-old Lonnie Hershel Wymer, Jr.

Wymer was last seen around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at his home at 3129 Sedgefield Gate Road, according to deputies.

Deputies said he left his home to go for a walk and hasn’t been seen since.

Wymer, Jr. is described as a white male, standing 5’9” and weighing around 185 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green and beige tropical shirt and green pants, according to deputies.

Wymer reportedly suffers from medical issues and needs access to his medications.
