Greensboro apartment complex cleaned up, under new management

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Trash piled high, electrical problems and more than 100 other code violations.

The former Cascades Grandview apartment building off West Market Street near downtown Greensboro -- which was a pretty high-end hotel when it opened back in the 1960s -- was anything but appealing as a student apartment complex a couple of summers ago.

But now it has a whole new life -- just as the college students start to move in.
