Dozens gather in Charlotte to honor the fallen at Vietnam War memorial

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A memorial dedicated to veterans now sits at one Charlotte high school, according to WSOC-TV.

A ceremony for a memorial that honors those killed in the Vietnam War was held Friday at Garinger High School.

Garinger’s class of 1963 organized the event. Dozens attended to pay tribute to those fallen soldiers. Other classes also participated.
