Thomasville man gets $2 million bond for sex charges involving children

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — A Thomasville man was placed in jail under a $2 million secured bond and faces multiple sex charges involving minors.

Jonathan Alan Weaver, 24, of 105 Cannon St., is charged with seven counts of felony second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Police stated in the arrest warrants that Weaver distributed and solicited unknown internet users with material containing a visual representation of minors.

The court documents stated the sexual activity involved young children and adults.

Weaver is in the Davidson County Detention Center. He was given a court date of Sept. 24 in Thomasville District Court.

    Maybe the officials in Thomasville are just more serious about getting these creeps off the streets, to protect the children.
