A small plane crashed Friday night at Statesville Regional Airport on Bethlehem Road, according to Iredell County officials.

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A small plane crashed Friday night at Statesville Regional Airport on Bethlehem Road, according to Iredell County officials.

Officials told WSOC-TV that four people were onboard and two were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Piper PA 46-350P, registered in Catawba County, overshot the runway, officials said.
