Fourth and Marshall streets in Winston-Salem to close Sunday for work

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Fourth Street between Cherry and Spruce streets and Marshall Street between Fourth and Fifth streets will be closed on Sunday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday for utility work, with water shut off to some customers in the area from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m., according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Officials said detours and caution signs would be posted. Road plates will remain on portions of the streets through Wednesday.

27th Street to close for work

The eastbound lanes of 27th Street between University Parkway and Shorefair Drive will be closed Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sewer line work. Detours and caution signs will be posted.

The westbound lanes of the same portion of 27th Street will be closed for similar work on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
