CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A corridor of the Carolinas Medical Center Emergency Room is roped off Wednesday while officials say a patient is “being tested.”

A spokesman would not specify what they are testing the patient for.

The hospital is taking “all normal precautions,” according to officials. The Centers for Disease Control says it has not been contacted.

There are no further details at this time.

Taking “all normal precautions”? LOLROF! When have you ever seen part of a hospital closed off for testing? I sure haven’t. I would not call that “normal precautions”. It makes me wonder if they are testing for Ebola.

of course they are….especially after the guy with Samaritans Purse gets it…..probably a false alarm, just someone who was there and made themselves sick worrying about it…..I’d stake em in a field and wait 3 or 4 days to see what happens…they start bleeding uncontrollably from places on the body that bleeding ain’t natural, burn that field

I applauded that person for being paranoid. Better safe than sorry.
I guess you would’ve spread the virus instead of being paranoid.

here’s a lil tidbit I’m willing to bet you all didn’t know….some monkeys that were carriers of the Marburg virus got loose in Virginia in the 90’s….Marburg is the cousin to Ebola….
