Woman admits to stabbing boyfriend because he came home too late

HOUMA, La. — A woman in Louisiana is accused of stabbing her boyfriend because he came home too late.

WVUE reported that Kera Dupre, 21, of Houma, admitted to the crime and has been arrested for one count of aggravated-second-degree battery.

Police said the victim was found bleeding inside a home Sunday morning with a stab wound to his leg.

The suspect was in the house with him and reportedly told police she attacked him with a knife after he didn’t come home at a reasonable hour.

The suspect was jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where she is waiting on a bond hearing.
