BURLINGTON, N.C. -- It's hard to mention downtown Burlington without mentioning LabCorp. Not only is its corporate headquarters there, it owns more property downtown than any other person or company.

But early next year, LabCorp will start moving nearly 1,000 workers from downtown Burlington to McLeansville.
