Deputies search for missing Rockingham Co. family

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are searching for a missing Rockingham County woman, her 6-month-old child and the child’s father.

Kaitlyn Nicole Williams, 19, of 161 Brightwood Road, was last seen by her mother on Friday, July 18 around 8:30 p.m.

Williams was headed to a friend’s house and then to the beach but never arrived at the

Williams is traveling with her 6-month-old daughter and deputies believe they are with the child’s father, 22-year-old Wesley Blake Dillon.

Deputies say Williams left in her 2001 Honda Civic, which was later found in a Walmart parking lot in Mayodan.  Her mother received a text saying it was there.

The vehicle reportedly had been there since Sunday evening. A vehicle matching a description of the child’s father’s vehicle, a silver 1999 Honda Civic, was spotted along with a man unloading items from Williams’ car into his.

All attempts to contact either adult have been unsuccessful.

Deputies believe they may be headed to Myrtle Beach, but family members are concerned about Williams’ well-being.

Williams is described as a white female, 5’7″, 160 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on her lower left abdomen “Let It Be.”

      Really!! How can you be that low? This is way out of here nature and would never leave like this on her own. You should have a little more respect for people! The family she was going to the beach with was like a second family to here and she would not have said she was going there and not show without calling!! Prayers for a safe return is what is needed at a time like this not disrespectful comments!

        They will return, may not be her nature but she is 19 and is an adult, she may not be who you once knew her as now that she has had a baby and might want to do things on her own… I am going to say that they are just getting away from everything that has been going on for a bit.. They will run out of money, they will be back…

    She charged him with assault on a female earlier this year but he was found “not guilty”. It does seem odd.

    I hope they are found safe and sound keep yall in my prayers but just think positive maybe they just went on a vaca and did not wont to tell anyone for they might not like them leaving anywhere with him if charges were filled once befor
