GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro bridge on Interstate 40 tops AAA Carolinas’ list of North Carolina overpasses most in need of repair.

The Greensboro News & Record reported the motor club listed the I-40/I-85 Business bridge over South Buffalo Creek at the top of its list of the 20 worst bridges statewide.

Motor club officials released their annual survey Friday and it’s the third year in a row that the bridge has topped the list.

It has ranked as either worst or second worst on the motor club’s list for the last seven years, standing alone as worst of the worst since 2012.
