White House lockdown lifted after unattended package investigated

WASHINGTON — The White House was placed on lockdown for about an hour and a half Thursday afternoon due to an unattended package, according to NBC Washington.

The package was on the north fence line.

Lafayette Park, across the street from the White House, was cleared.
