COLORADO -- Brutus, a 75-pound rottweiler, had a rough winter.

According to KDVR, the pup was left outside in the cold by a previous owner.

Brutus suffered severe frostbite which caused him to lose portions of all four paws.

Thanks to a new foster owner, Brutus is getting better. But he still has problems walking, which puts him at risks for other health issues.

So now, the community is pulling together to raise funds so Brutus can have prosthetic paws. They cost $8,000-$9,000.

To help Brutus, donations are accepted through the Better Paws for Brutus GoFundMe.com page.
