2 arrested for armed robbery of Sheetz in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have arrested two people for the armed robbery of a Greensboro convenience store Thursday evening.

Officers responded to the Sheetz at 5421 Hornaday Road shortly after 8 p.m. in reference to a larceny call.

A clerk told police he approached two suspects that were taking property from the business. One of the suspects produced a knife and then they fled the scene with the property.

There were no injuries in this incident.

The suspects were later located and identified as John Neeley, 34, and Darrius Perry, 42.

Both men were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
