GREENSBORO, N.C. — The City of Greensboro has reached a settlement with Greensboro Police Department Deputy Chief James E. Hinson Jr.

Hinson was one of several officers who alleged racial discrimination against the department.

The city reached a $500,000 settlement in September 2013 in multiple lawsuits involving several officers who filed a series of federal lawsuits accusing the city of racial discrimination in the mid-2000s.

The settlement between Hinson and the city pays Hinson $25,000.

The settlement agreement says the city will make no admission of liability.

“It is understood that this Release does not constitute and is not to be construed as an acknowledgement of liability or responsibility on the part of any Released Party,” the agreement reads.

The settlement, according to the agreement, was solely for the purpose of terminating the controversy between the parties and to “avoid the expense and inconvenience of litigation.”

hinson is just as crooked and on the take as any politician ever thought of being. If he wasn’t black, he would be in prison for one of his many illicit ventures.

This perverted cop has a really big problem with white people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He will destroy an hope of being any help to the new black police chief. And he does NOT qualify for the
job himself. I’m sure that he will sue Greensboro again at the first chance he gets.
    Watch out for him!!!!!!!!!!!

@ FRAN ARTIS – Not a very smart move on your part to sign on to this public blog using your F/B account – All your personal info is out there .. including pictures, etc. You need to remove the website portion of the sign-on info. You have made yourself a real target ……
Hinson has used the age old “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” Seems to have worked in his case …

  • Dickson John

Keep his dirty crooked cop in East Greensboro where he belongs. That is where the riots belong. Now we know why Chief Miller is leaving, the black crooks don’t want him here to stop the drug sales. This thug is not diverse, he is the worse racist in the country.
