Woman robbed at ATM in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman was robbed of her money while at an ATM in Greensboro Monday night.

Police responded to the Bank of America on Bessemer Avenue around 11:15 p.m. where a woman said she had been robbed.

The woman said she had just withdrawn an unknown amount of cash from the ATM machine when a man approached her and demanded the money. No weapon was reportedly displayed.

She gave the suspect the money and he fled on foot southbound on Huffman Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

    “An unknown amount of money”? or an undisclosed amount of money. Normally when I go to an ATM, I know how much I am withdrawing. The police may not have wanted to disclose how much money was taken as they frequently do when releasing information about robberies.
