WENTWORTH, N.C. — Three people have been charged in connection with the murder of 43-year-old Henry Earl Watson, of Eden, who was found dead in his car on New Year’s Day.

Watson was found dead inside his 2002 Gray Lincoln about 200 yards off Lakewood Road.

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, Eden Police received a call that Watson’s vehicle had been stolen, but there was no evidence to support that claim at the time.

Following an investigation, Travon Taylor and Larry Alexander Settle Jr. were charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a death. Gerald Sincere Uniqu Graves was charged with accessory after the fact.

Taylor is in the custody of the N.C. Department of Corrections and Settle was arrested Tuesday morning and placed in the Rockingham County Jail under no bond.

Graves is still being sought. Anyone that knows the whereabouts of Graves is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-349-9683.
