Man cut with machete after trying to break up a fight in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was cut with a machete after attempting to break up a fight in Greensboro early Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a home on Columbus Street around 12:10 a.m. where the victim was found with cuts to his face. The victim told police he was cut by a machete when he tried to intervene between two people who were arguing over a monetary debt.

The victim was transported to Moses Cone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
