Two charged after shotgun fired at man during fight in Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Two men have been charged after a shotgun was fired at a third man during a fight in Burlington Monday night.

The fight was reported around 7:22 p.m. in the 2300 block of Park Road Extension.

Wilson “Earl” White, 33, of Burlington, told police he got into an argument with Andre Jeffries, 46, and Michael Jeffries, 52, over a vehicle.

Police say Andre Jeffries shot a gun in White’s general direction. Both men also made threats to White, he said.

Two spent shotgun casings and a shotgun were seized at the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

Andre Jeffries was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. He was given a $5,000 secure bond.

Michael Jeffries was charged with communicating threats. At press time, Michael Jeffries has not been arrested.
