Power restored after more than 4,000 outages reported in Alamance County

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Crews have restored power after thousands of power outages were reported in Alamance County on Thursday.

Duke Energy’s website listed about 4,700 outages as of around 2 p.m. Thursday. The outages were reported in the Graham area.

As of 3:40 p.m., power had been restored.

It is unclear what caused the outages.
