Asheboro native cast as Anna in ABC’s ‘Once Upon a Time’

Asheboro native and recent University of North Carolina graduate Elizabeth Lail has been cast as Anna in the ABC drama Once Upon a Time, according to multiple media reports.

The show has cast Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff and Lail as Anna. The casting was first reported by TVLine.

Lail, who graduated from Asheboro High School in 2009, graduated from UNC in May.

Elsa, who was teased in the Once Upon a Time finale, has not been cast as of Tuesday afternoon.

Once Upon a Time is known for bringing well-known characters from classic tales into the show and putting a unique twist on their backstories.

Once Upon a Time returns to ABC’s Sunday-night lineup this fall.
