DALLAS, Ga. — Daddy-daughter dances often leave us grabbing for a tissue. This one is no exception.

McKenzie Carey, 12, has had mitochondrial disease since early childhood and is wheelchair-bound. Her father, Mike, wanted to help her perform at a summer pageant.

In the video, Mike dances with McKenzie in her wheelchair to Miley Cyrus’ song “The Climb.”

The video was posted on YouTube on June 17 and has been watched over 3 million times.
