WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A Wake County teen has been charged with exposing himself to more than a half dozen women in a bold and brazen way.

Police told WTVD-TV that 19-year-old Dakota Lanni exposed himself in the middle of the day to several women in multiple shopping center parking lots.

Lanni is now charged with seven counts of indecent exposure.

Police said Lanni exposed himself Thursday to five women outside of a Subway restaurant in the 12000 block of Capital Boulevard in Wake Forest.

Police said he also exposed himself to two other women in a Target parking lot last month in Wake Forest.

Lanni is behind bars at the Wake County Detention Center where he’s being held on an $8,000 bond. He will head to court on the charges in July.

Probably the best thing to do is to look at him and laugh and laugh, then say, “I’ll give you a 2, no wait! Okay, maybe nearly a 3, not sure you’re a 3 but you’re trying. Then laugh hilariously and walk off. No shock, just humiliation equals no incentive to continue such behavior. It’s a serious cry for attention that depends on shock value. He needs mental counseling.
