Woman arrested after high-speed chase with 3 children in car

ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — A woman was arrested after police say she led them on a high-speed chase through two counties early Wednesday morning while she had children in the car.

Police said they first tried to pull the woman over for speeding on Highway 74 in Indian Trail around 2:30 a.m.

The woman reportedly drove at speeds upwards of 95 mph before police finally stopped her in Anson County.

Officials found three children in the car and turned them over to the Department of Social Services.

The woman’s name has not yet been released.

    Just another POS! What is wrong with people? Has the whole world gone crazy or is everyone on drugs. No regard for herself is one thing, but 3 children. I hope she never gets to see them again, but I know some bleeding heart judge will give her another chance. She’ll most likely kill them the next time.
