On Tuesday local and state police were passing out info in the area detailing the dangers of being on the railroad tracks.

How many is this killed by Amtrak trains between GSO and Raleigh in recent months? A dozen or so now? If not mistaken, didn’t the same train hit two different people in two different locations one day? Gosh, people, if you’re gonna walk the tracks, at least stay alert.

Just stay off the tracks, period. My acquaintance Ricardo Aleman was struck by an eastbound freight train and then westbound amtrak the following day before anyone saw him aboard amtrak and stopped the train. This was only 5-6 months ago. If the tracks are absolutely the fastest way to go, walk on the far edge of the rocks away from the rails and look both ways frequently. Never wear headphones and stay off the bridges always. If you have to cross a rail bridge, take a longer route and forget the tracks completely. Better a longer route and alive than a shortcut and dead.

Wow you win the award for most sensitive comment of the year. If only that same natural selection would take you out too all would be right with the world. The man had family and friends who loved him and that is what you choose to post? You are a lowlife piece of garbage and i truly pity your existence.
