Truck carrying human waste overturns near Carowinds

FORT MILL, S.C. — A truck carrying human waste overturned on I-77 near Carowinds Tuesday  morning.

Officials said the truck was carrying 18 tons of processed human waste when it flipped on its side at exit 90 getting onto Carowinds Boulevard.

Nobody was hurt and troopers said the driver of the truck will be charged with driving too fast for conditions.

HAZMAT crews are on the scene, which is expected to be cleared by 1 p.m.
