SALISBURY, N.C. — A Salisbury High School student is accused of stealing a cell phone and then spitting on a police officer who confronted him about it.

The Salisbury Post reported that 16-year-old Diego Santamaria has been charged with misdemeanor larceny and felony malicious conduct by a prisoner.

Police said the suspect was caught on surveillance video stealing a cell phone that a high school student left on a ledge.

When an officer went to approach the suspect, he allegedly spit on her and called her a “pig.”

The incident reportedly happened Wednesday during a fire drill at Salisbury High School. The officer retrieved the phone.

Just give him amnesty and in-state tuition at one of our state universities/colleges, and that will make him a model citizen (and a life-long Democratic voter, wink, wink).
