SPENCER, N.C. -- Twenty-six vintage streamliner engines from all across the country will be gathered at the North Carolina Transportation Museum for a very special event.

Among the old diesel engines will be one steam-powered streamliner that was last seen on “Roy’s Folks” back in 1994.

The old Engine No. 611 is back in Spencer for the event and to be restored to its former glory.
