Civil Rights Museum director calls Angelou ‘a gift to our country’

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The International Civil Rights Center and Museum's Executive Director Amelia Parker considered Maya Angelou a dear friend and "a gift to our country."

Many have stories of Angelou, the poet, and Angelou, the activist. Wednesday afternoon, Parker sat down with FOX8's Cindy Farmer and Natalie Wilson to talk about Maya Angelou, the person.
