MAIDEN, N.C. — A black bear was spotted in Maiden Thursday night at the Red Wolf Farm, according to WSOC-TV.

The bear was spotted with a Trailcam that the owner had put up.

The bear was attracted to large tubs that are filled with corn that visitors use. The tubs are covered to keep the raccoons and squirrels out.

Something was moving the covers off, so the owner set up a camera and captured the images of the bear.

The tubs are two feet tall, so it appears the bear could be around five feet tall.

WSOC reporter Dave Faherty is at the scene and will be tracking the bear throughout the day.
