Wet ‘n Wild water park ready for opening weekend

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Wet’n Wild Emerald Pointe water park will officially open for summer on Saturday.

Wet’n Wild will celebrate its 30th anniversary season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial Day weekend.

The park will operate this year from Saturday, June 7 to Monday, Sept. 1.

Wet’n Wild features more than 36 rides and attractions and has been ranked as one of the top ten water parks in the country, according to park officials.

FOX8’s Stephanie Ando talked to park officials about how they’re preparing for another busy summer.

Season passes are $99.99. Daily passes are $35.99 for general all day admission (over 48 inches tall) and $24.99 for junior all day admission (under 48 inches tall). Children 2 and younger are free. For more information, visit
