Berryman Street in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was hospitalized after he was shot in his abdomen and arm on Berryman Street in Greensboro early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the shooting on Berryman Street, but were unable to find a victim.

A short time later, an officer stopped a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed on North Holden Road. A man was inside suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and arm.

He was transported to the hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening at this time.

There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
