Man injured in Winston-Salem shooting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Police said a 24-year-old man was shot and injured after a fight involving several people in Winston-Salem.

Authorities said the shooting took place late Saturday night in the 3600 block of Harvard Road.

The victim was reportedly found in the 2700 block of Peters Creek Parkway with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

He was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center by an ambulance for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
