2 arrested for break-in, larceny in Yadkin Co.

BOONVILLE, N.C. — Police have arrested two men in connection with stealing items from a Yadkin County business.

Officers responded to a business on Ralph Road in Boonville on May 6 in reference to a report of an attempted larceny.

During the investigation it was determined that the two suspects had entered the business, taken items from inside and attempted to steal other items from outside the business.

Yadkin County sheriff’s deputies identified the suspects as William Franklin Hutchens, 64, of Yadkinville, and Jimmie Delane Henderson, 19, of Ronda.

Both Hutchens and Henderson turned themselves in on May 7. They were each charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering and felony attempted larceny. The two men were released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

All stolen items were recovered and returned to the property owner.
