Four firefighters injured after fire truck overturns, catches fire near Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews are responding to an overturned fire engine that has caught fire in Charlotte Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 8:20 a.m. near Ardrey Kell Road and Bridgehampton Club Drive.

Police have closed the road as they investigate the wreck.

Four people have been transported to Carolinas Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, according to WBTV.
