FAIRFIELD, Calif. – A small plane performing at an air show at Travis Air Force Base in California crashed Sunday, an official said.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt.

Airman Bryan Swink said the plane went down at the Thunder Over Solano air show. The rest of Sunday’s show was canceled, he said, adding that the plane that went down was not a military plane.

A photograph from the scene shows black rising from a tarmac. It appears the crash happened away from spectators.
