2 sought for attempted break-in in Pilot Mountain

PILOT MOUNTAIN, N.C. — Police are seeking public assistance in identifying two suspects who attempted to break into a residence recently.

The attempted break-in happened in the 800 block of Ararat Road.

The victim was home at the time and took several photographs before the suspects realized they were being photographed.

The suspects fled the scene in a gray SUV or pickup believed to be a 1980s model.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Surry County Sheriff’s Office at 336-401-8900.
