GREENSBORO, N.C. -- At Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, all things agriculture were celebrated Friday.

At the school's annual FFA Day, students and visitors learned how agriculture touches just about everything we deal with in life. From the animals and crops that allow us to have meals to the crops that grow and are harvested.

Farming is more than just a career; it’s a way of life.

The day also highlighted many charities like Easters Promise a therapeutic equine center that offers horseback riding and hiking facilities for veterans to benefit the military.

There's also a variety of machinery on hand as well as farm equipment that's used to bring us the products we love.

The horticulture department has an ongoing plant sale where bedding plants and flowers are available at minimal cost. For more information you can contact the school at 336-674-4300.
