WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem family is OK after an SUV crashed into their house early Friday morning.

The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. at a home on Parkside Meadow Court.

Officials say it appears the driver lost control as the 1993 GMC Yukon veered off Peters Creek Parkway and into the rear of the house, coming to a stop in the kitchen area.

The SUV’s gas tank ruptured in the collision, causing gas to leak inside the house.

A mother and her 6-year-old daughter were home at the time, but they were not injured.

Everyone inside the SUV fled the scene before officers arrived.

Several neighbors in the area were evacuated from their homes for a short time until the area was rendered safe.

The investigation is ongoing.

That, or more of Obama’s sons on the rampage again in the city that turns a blind eye to such violence. Perhaps the perps thought the city was holding a “car buy-back” event instead of a gun buy-back program and wrecked the stolen SUV when they found out that they could get nothing for it from the city. Oh well, I guess it is back to ransacking nursing homes, home invasions, and holding up convenient stores for these poor, oppressed people who choose to steal from others instead of working for a living.
