St. Petersburg, Russia — A 17-year-old fell 30-feet to her death after she climbed on top of a railway bridge and attempted to take a selfie.

According to the International Business Times, Xenia Ignatyeva climbed a railway bridge in Krasnogvardeysky to take the photo.

According to the report, Ignatyeva lost her balance and fell. She then grabbed a high voltage cable that electrocuted her before she fell 30 feet to the ground.

The girl’s grandmother said she wanted to take a photo at night, to give the photo the “most dramatic effect” with the railway line as a backdrop.
