CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police seized more than a dozen pit bulls from a Charlotte home and charged the owner with animal cruelty.

Samuel Mobley was charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty after police took 14 dogs from his home, according to WSOC.

Police say all the dogs were thin and some had no access to shelter or water.

One dog was kept in the garage.

    PLEASE DON’T GIVE THEM BACK!!! 12 dogs that are thin & no food or water….he doesn’t need any of them!! Maybe he should do without food, water & proper shelter…see how he likes that!!!!

    Let’s chain him up outside with no food and no water and leave him there for a few weeks.
    People who abuse animals are sick. The punishment for this needs to be much harsher.

    Chain him out in the heat/cold w out food & water. Make sure he doesn’t have shelter. He will never be punished the way he should. He is a sick POS! Nice little smerk on his face!!He is smerking because he knows he want be punished. Prove him wrong. There is a special place in hell for him.
