Four robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro home invasion

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Four people were robbed at gunpoint inside a Greensboro home early Monday morning.

A 51-year-old man told police he was walking to his home on Lawndale Drive just before 7 a.m. when a man approached him, showed a gun and forced his way into the house.

The suspect forced the man and three woman, all in their 40s, into a bedroom,while he stole several items and an undermined amount of cash, police said.

The robber left the house and fled on foot.

The victims were not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, long ‘dreadlocks,’ blue jeans and armed with a handgun.

The investigation is ongoing.
