Man found shot, injured in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro police are investigating a shooting that sent a 26-year-old man to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury early Saturday morning.

Police said they responded to Martin Luther King Jr Drive and Julian Street shortly after 2:30 a.m. in reference to a reported shooting.

Officials said they found Alfred Xavier Arant suffering from one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No suspect information was available and police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call police at (336) 373-1000.
