NC commissioner charged with assaulting neighbor

MINT HILL, N.C. — A commissioner for a North Carolina town is accused of throwing rocks and dirt in his neighbor’s face.

WSOC-TV reported that that Mint Hill commissioner Lloyd Austin is also accused of punching the victim in the back of the neck. 

Austin reportedly turned himself in to police Wednesday and faces a charge of misdemeanor simple assault. He has bonded out of jail and has court planned for June 13.

Details surrounding the alleged incident were not released.

    So it’s ok for him to blare music at all hours with kids next door? Verbally threaten his neighbor’s job, wife, and kids to the point the neighbors employer had to lock down the building and involve the police (and yes it is documented)? Drive intoxicated? And now this. He is responsible for his actions and deserves ramifications.
