Fire rekindles at home on Yanceyville Street in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Crews returned to a house on Yanceyville Street in Greensboro after a fire rekindled Tuesday morning.

The fire at the 703 5th Avenue home started Monday afternoon and was extinguished the same day.

One person was at home at the time, but managed to get out safely.

Firefighters returned to the scene around 6 a.m. Tuesday and are continuing to battle the “working fire.”
